New Retail Distribution: Revolver and No Idea!

Hey Record Stores — Our latest releases are now available from two of the most respected names in independent music distribution — Revolver USA and No Idea. Major thanks to both companies for picking up our catalog and making them available once again to record stores world-wide.

As an independent record label, our fans and friends are all we have to help get our records into stores. If you are into helping out, please send us an email with some details about the record shops in your area that should be carrying our releases so we can make sure to contact them, and if you have any connections or friends at these shops, please let them know about our rad records that they should be carrying! Let us know too if you are into helping out with putting up posters or dropping off stickers and postcards at your local record shops to help spread the good word.

The Blank Fight – House Band Feud LP Re-Issue

I included songs by THE BLANK FIGHT on way to many mix-tapes for crushes and road-trips as a teenager, and alongside the bands their members came from (like CRIMPSHRINE and THIS BIKE IS A PIPE BOMB), hold them in high esteem as still being super important today.

I couldn’t beleive it when Skott asked if I’d be interested in re-issuing the album, and got further blown away upon hearing the re-mastered recordings and seeing the new artwork and linear notes from Aaron Cometbus. 17 year old me would be shitting his pants at this point. Listen to this song and be stoked:

Available now for mail-order right here, with the first 500 on clear vinyl.

New Shang-A-Lang EP up for mail-order!

We have the very final Shang-A-Lang EP available now for pre-order:

I suppose somewhat appropriately Shang-A-Lang’s last record of new material, titled Waiting for the End, will be released on the first week of what many consider the last year of human existance. Shang-A-Lang has been an incredibly prolific band over the past few years, having done countless splits (really, I can’t count them), several 7 inches, an LP/CD, and a Collections LP. The release is between 7 labels that have helped the band out in various ways over the past several years: Dirt Cult, Fast Crowd, Silver Sprocket, Dead Broke, Let’s Pretend, No Breaks, and Drunken Sailor (UK). Each label will have 118 copies. These five songs are probably the best SAL material to date, which makes the break-up even more bittersweet.
This record features full-color cover art from Mitch Clem and Nation Of Amanda and an MP3 download code.
