attaboy-gooberry-167 AttaboyGooberry (Plush Collectable Figure) $25

Each Gooberry has been freshly picked from a secret Gooberry Patch before ripening just for you! Like a newborn’s skull, their soft skin has yet to be fully formed, so a Gooberry is very impressionable and extra-sensitive to your each and every touch! DO NOT pull a Gooberry’s string, as each pull, although wholly satisfying to you, brings the Gooberry that much closer to a most painful death. Measuring 12.5 inches tall, the Gooberry squeaks in pain when you squeeze her pinchers, and cowers in fear from your every snuggle. Truely an interactive experience, the Gooberry is the first designer plush to feature a pull-string sound box and squeakers! THE GOOBERRY IS NOT A TOY. This is an art collectable and not intended for anyone age 15 or younger.

FACE 001

The PillowfightsRound 1 (CD) $5

Their songs hardly ever break the one minute mark, but in these short bursts are distillations of my favorite things about The Descendants, Lemuria, Discount, Soda – OK it really isn’t fair to automatically compare a girl-fronted pop-punk band to every other good girl-fronted pop-punk band, but fuck it, those bands all rule and so do The Pillowfights! Ten songs in eleven minutes for just five bucks, packaged Plan-It-Ex style in a polybag with a massive fold out double-sided poster featuring lyrics, photos and artwork by the band.

Blatz - Cheaper Than The Beer (7″ EP) $3.50

The debut from Berkeley’s most hated band BLATZ. Anyone who was around to witness these fucks in action would definitely recall flying spit, trash, phlegm, puke, and snotty fucks tormenting the crowd and their band members alike. A whole slew of misfit degenerate punks composed the collective soul of this band which was held together by duct tape and keep alive by beer, tobacco, caffeine and other mind altering substances. 3 singers (2 female, one snotty pants male) made it easy to not only sing but to start some shit with the crowd and the other member of the band. The two chicks invade, hellbent on turning the whole freakshow into a Frank Sinatra lounge act. Then the silly snotty pants protest waving anarchist convention dropout whines and withers naked or in his BVD’s. Then you have a graveyard shift working DJ trying to figure out BLATZ bass lines (WHY?) and a young guitarist waving 25 cents rags of protest, local gossip, overused art and misspellings at you every gig they played. Add your smooth character drummer and you’ve got the finest fucked up punk mess you can imagine. Members of BLATZ later went on to form THE CRIMINALS, CYPHER IN THE SNOW and DEAD and GONE, as well as keeping the infamous zine ABSOLUTELY ZIPPO in production. Limited pressing of 550 on rotten beer colored vinyl!

Ashtray - The Power Of Positive Drinking (CD) $8

Inspired by BLATZ, OPERATION IVY and other bands to come out of the East Bay’s 924 Gilman Street scene in the 80’s and 90’s, Santa Rosa co-ed crusties ASHTRAY present the quintessential drunk-punk party record, The Power of Positive Drinking, featuring fourteen high-energy beer-soaked anthems. Recorded by Andy “Andro” Ernst at The Art Of Ears, this album includes live favorites like S.S.B.C., Call The Cops and Favorite Things, plus a bonus unlisted track that is quite possibly the most adorable love song to ever come from the genre. Comes with a cigarette inside the jewel-case.

Pteradon / The New Trust - Split (7″ EP) $5

This split 7? between The New Trust and Pteradon has two brand new exclusive tracks from each band. The New Trust, featuring Josh Staples formerly of The Velvet Teen, plays unpretentious, fired-up indie-rock songs that bring to mind the mid-’90s heyday (think Boilermaker, Knapsack, early Promise Ring, etc.), are catchy as all get-out, and rarely reach the three-minute mark. Pteradon, featuring Max and Morgan from The Hard Girls and Jesse Michaels’ Classics Of Love, play grinding indie-punk reminiscent of early Jawbreaker and The Lawrence Arms, tearing up your throat sing-a-long anthems. First pressing of 500 on white wax with stunning full-color double-sided jackets with photography by Sara Sanger.

Mitch Clem - Nothing Nice To Say (Book) $10

Punk-rock culture has a rich, longstanding tradition of anger, nihilism, and good old-fashioned suburban teenage angst, and no one is more headstrong and humorless about punk rock than the punks themselves. Enter Nothing Nice to Say. Mitch Clem’s Nothing Nice to Say leaves no mohawked, leather-jacket-clad stone unturned in its mission to expose the awesomeness and the absurdity of punk culture. Sometimes esoteric and always hilarious, Nothing Nice is so punk you’ll think the book was bound with safety pins.
