The Pillowfights play fast short and fun Discount / Decedents inspired female-fronted pop-punk, including the cutest duet since Fairytale In New York (“Get Outta Here”). Smokejumper plays it rough and grungey like Lagwagon and Screeching Weasel grew up in Seattle, including a Husker Du cover! Comes with an MP3 download card that even gives you an extra bonus track not on the EP (thats 6 total songs!), limited pressing of 400 on “Ghost Busters Bubblegum Puke” and 100 on invisible (clear) vinyl!

Their songs hardly ever break the one minute mark, but in these short bursts are distillations of my favorite things about The Descendants, Lemuria, Discount, Soda – OK it really isn’t fair to automatically compare a girl-fronted pop-punk band to every other good girl-fronted pop-punk band, but fuck it, those bands all rule and so do The Pillowfights! Ten songs in eleven minutes for just five bucks, packaged Plan-It-Ex style in a polybag with a massive fold out double-sided poster featuring lyrics, photos and artwork by the band.
