Madeline Mouse

Madeline Mouse is a comics creator, storyteller, and part-time gardener. They create quick narratives and busy illustrations about queer love stories, alleyway junk, and connection beyond the human form. They currently reside in the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh territories of the Pacific Northwest. In 2022 they published their first collection of comics, Madeline’s Good Dirt and Junk Collection, with Cloudscape Comics. In 2024 they’ll be publishing Belly Full of Heart with Silver Sprocket.

This 45-year old stronghold of queer literature in Chicago has stood the test of time and is likely one of the places you think of if you have a picture of a feminist bookstore in your head.
