Before youtube and high-speed internet, I spent endless time on the computer digging up any shred of info I could find on them. I poured over their liner notes, using my meager Japanese skills to read their lyrics and was always pleasantly surprised to find that these songs were about growing up, being awkward, stalking your first crush, and dealing with the insanity of life. This is to say, the lyrics ended up being exactly what I was expecting from their beautiful and savage tunes.
