I was quite broke at the time, couldn’t afford therapy, and was suffering from extreme bouts of anxiety with a side of panic attacks. Making comics is cheaper than therapy (for the most part), so I was making memoir comics about all the things I was stressed about. I was focusing more and more on the stress, to the point where I realized that I was making a bunch of comics about the problem and not making any steps towards finding a solution. That led to this comic. I still can’t afford therapy, but now I have some skills to deal with anxiety on my own turf.

“You Will Be Okay” is filled with coloring pages, simple thought exercises, advice and resources to help you get through anxiety attacks.
